FREE Event: Toledo Memorial Park’s Annual Car Show

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sylvania, OH—Toledo Memorial Park (the Park) will hold their annual car show on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This fun family event benefits the Wreaths Across America program, led locally by Mel Harbough and the volunteer team at the Park.

“We look forward to the annual car show all year, it’s such a highlight of the summer,” said Mel Harbaugh, local coordinator of Wreaths Across America.  “This event is the only fundraising we have that supports placing wreaths on thousands of veteran graves each December at our Wreaths Across America event.”

Visitors can expect to see approximately three-to-four hundred unique classic cars at the event along with food trucks, 50/50 drawings, door prizes and more.

“The Car Show has been going strong for more than a decade and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with our community,” said Chad Albert, president of Toledo Memorial Park. “This long-standing event is a demonstration of the Park’s dedication to honoring and memorializing veterans who have served our country.”
